our story
What began as Pastor Samuel Chester Sr.'s vision to serve his community became a reality in 2015 with the opening of the Chester Community Food Bank (CCFB) in Roberta, Georgia.
Located in a rural community with limited access to fresh, affordable food, CCFB was founded to help families facing food insecurity. With many children, seniors, and families living below the poverty line, the need for reliable food assistance continues to grow.
Since opening our doors, we have remained committed to providing nourishment, hope, and compassion to our neighbors. Every meal shared, every volunteer who serves, and every donation received helps us move closer to our mission of ensuring no one in our community has to face hunger alone.
